Crafts with the kids at APOV

Kids like crafts!

It’s true, kids like crafts. But sometimes it can be more frustrating than fun when faced with all those steps in the directions. Most craft books weren’t designed for us, kid’s with ASDs. They don’t include pictures when they should and the wording in their directions is usually confusing.

But kids still like crafts! So the 4-Eyed-Pup asked me to choose some crafts every month, ones I like or that have been sent in by you guys, and rewrite them in way WE can follow along. Sometimes I think the people who put these books together don’t speak English. I’ll try to translate their gibberish.

Last month we only had one craft, the ghost. This month we’ll do more. Even though this is the Holiday Issue (which means the rest of the zine won’t update until January) I’ll be adding new crafts as they come in. Check back every week to see if something new has been added.
